Earn the CCIM Designation at an accelerated pace as a Fast Track Institute Candidate member. Professionals with these designations can earn the CCIM Designation without the traditional elective credit and portfolio requirements:

Earning the CCIM Designation as a Fast Track Member
Fast Track members* have 24 months from the time they join to complete the following Designation requirements:
CI101: Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate
This course is a prerequisite for CI102 - CI104 and will provide you with a foundation of practical financial analysis skills you need to succeed in the following courses and in the field.
CI102: Market Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate
Analyze investment factors for each of four major property types: office, industrial, multifamily, and retail.
Negotiations Training
Eight hours of negotiations training is required before going on to CI 103 and CI 104. This requirement can be completed either through our online Preparing to Negotiate course, the one-day classroom course Commercial Real Estate Negotiations, or the two-day classroom Advanced Negotiation Workshop.
CI103: User Decision Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate
Utilize market and financial analysis skills for user space decisions, and apply cost-of-occupancy models for ownership and leasing
CI104: Investment Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate
Optimize investment returns and effectively forecast investment performance by quantifying real estate risk.
Online Ethics Course
This free training covers The CCIM Institute Code and Standards of Practice of The CCIM Institute.
Elective Credits WAIVED
Fast Track members do not need to fulfill the required two elective credits.
Portfolio of Qualifying Experience WAIVED
Because Fast Track members already hold industry-related designation, they do not need to demonstrate their commercial real estate experience in a portfolio.
Comprehensive Exam
Once the above requirements have been completed, you will sit for the Comprehensive Exam which is held twice a year in the U.S. or as-needed internationally.
*International Fast Track members are exempt from the negotiations and the Online Ethics Course. International members are required to complete the two-day Course Concepts Review (CCR) in conjunction with a Comprehensive Exam.
*Proof of qualifying commercial real estate activities is required to apply with a FRI designation.
**Individuals who have held the RICS designation for at least 10 years may be eligible for the RICS Direct Track.
