Apply for the University Fast Track Undergraduate Membership
Earn the CCIM Designation at an accelerated pace though the University Fast Track. Graduates within the last five years of undergraduate real estate programs from approved colleges and universities will get credit for the first Designation course requirement.
As a University Fast Track Undergraduate member, you'll have access to these benefits.
Earning the CCIM Designation as a University Fast Track Member
University Fast Track members* have 72 months from the time they join to complete the following Designation requirements:
- CI 101 Course Exam
University Fast Track members do not need to complete CI 101 but must pass the course exam.
- Negotiations Training
Eight hours of negotiations training is required before going on to CI 103 and CI 104. This requirement can be completed either through our online Preparing to Negotiate course, the one-day classroom course Commercial Real Estate Negotiations, or the two-day classroom Advanced Negotiation Workshop.
- Core Course(s): CI 102, CI 103, and CI 104.
- Online Ethics Course. This free training covers The CCIM Institute Code and Standards of Practice of The CCIM Institute.
- Elective Credits
University Fast Track members do not need to fulfill the required two elective credits.
- Portfolio of Qualifying Experience
This portfolio demonstrates your experience in commercial real estate. You are eligible to submit it any time after completing CI 101. Submissions are reviewed approximately two months prior to each Comprehensive Exam.
- Comprehensive Exam
Once the above requirements have been completed, you will sit for the Comprehensive Exam which is held twice a year in the U.S. or as-needed internationally.
*International University Fast Track members are exempt from the negotiations and the Online Ethics Course. International members are required to complete the two-day Core Concepts Review (CCR) in conjunction with a Comprehensive Exam.
