Earn the CCIM Designation at an accelerated pace (48 months) though the University Fast Track Graduate Membership. Graduates within the last five years of real estate master's programs from approved colleges and universities will get credit for most of the core Designation courses. View the courses.

Earning the CCIM Designation as a University Fast Track Member
University Fast Track Graduate members* have 48 months from the time they join to complete the following Designation requirements:
- CI 101 Course Exam - Waived
- Negotiations Training
Eight hours of negotiations training is required before going on to CI 103 and CI 104. This requirement can be completed either through our online Preparing to Negotiate course, the one-day classroom course Commercial Real Estate Negotiations, or the two-day classroom Advanced Negotiation Workshop.
- Core Course(s): Most require CI 103 (see exceptions below).
- Online Ethics Course. This free training covers The CCIM Institute Code and Standards of Practice of The CCIM Institute.
- Elective Credits - WAIVED
- Portfolio of Qualifying Experience
This portfolio demonstrates your experience in commercial real estate. You are eligible to submit it any time after completing CI 101. Submissions are reviewed approximately two months prior to each Comprehensive Exam.
- Comprehensive Exam
Once the above requirements have been completed, you will sit for the Comprehensive Exam which is held twice a year in the U.S. or as-needed internationally.
These university graduate programs have alternate core course requirements.
- College of William and Mary, University of Houston, and University at Buffalo graduates need to complete both the CI 102: Market Analysis and CI 104: Investment Analysis courses.
- California State University at Fullerton and Coastal Carolina University graduates need to complete the CI 103: User Decision Analysis and the CI 104: Investment Analysis courses
- Georgetown University graduates need to complete the CI 102: Market Analysis course.
- University of Missouri at Kansas City graduates need to complete the CI 104: Investment Analysis course.
- Pepperdine University and Roosevelt University graduates need to complete the CI 102: Market Analysis and the CI 103: User Decision Analysis courses.
At this time, all other eligible graduates need to complete the CI 103: User Decision Analysis course.
*International University Fast Track members are exempt from the negotiations and the Online Ethics Course. International members are required to complete the two-day Core Concepts Review (CCR) in conjunction with a Comprehensive Exam.
